“…Plasma activation was performed under low pressure in hydrogen [40] and oxygen. [38][39][40] [38] but could not shift T c to higher values. The as-prepared samples were heated in vacuo before the plasma treatment was performed.…”

“…The highest zero resistance temperature mentioned in the work was 93 K for the YBCO sample,40 which is only slight above the value usually obtained for the non‐modified samples 48,51. The third work dealing with oxygen plasma treatment of oxide based superconductors reports on the influence on Nd‐123 superconductor and it showed that the mode of microwave plasma has an effect on the stoichiometry, the stoichiometric factor δ as well as on the crystal symmetry of the samples 39. It has turned out that in case of transverse electric mode was used, orthorhombic structured NdBa 2 Cu 3 O 6+ δ with T c,onset = 89.4 K could be achieved which indicates a positive shift of 0.8 K compared to the as‐prepared sample 39.…”

“…The oxidation contents are also dependent on the microwave modes and the plasma stability (Ismail et al, 2003). The physical properties such as energy gap and band structure can be extracted from the optical characterization of the thin films (Caglar et al, 2006).…”
