The Effect of Narrowband Interference on Wideband Wireless Communication Systems

Abstract: Abstract-This paper evaluates the performance of wideband communication systems in the presence of narrowband interference (NBI). In particular, we derive closed-form bit-error probability expressions for spread-spectrum systems by approximating narrowband interferers as independent asynchronous tone interferers.
