The Effect of N-Acetylcysteine on Oxidant/Antioxidant Status in Irradiated Rats

Abstract: N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) is both a strong antioxidant and a glutathione precursor. The effect of NAC on the oxidant/antioxidant status of some tissues of the irradiated rats was investigated.
