Abstract:Introduction: Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine drug that is mainly used to treat generalized anxiety disorder and sleep disorders. Doctors' insistence on prescribing alprazolam due to its long half-life (16 hours) can lead to severe withdrawal complications.
