The effect of mycophenolate mofetil on platelet function

Abstract: Mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) raises platelet counts in patients with primary immune thrombocytopenia. However, studies indicate that MMF inhibits collagen-induced platelet aggregation, potentially increasing bleeding risk following MMF therapy.
