StreszczenieWprowadzenie. Resorpcja zęba jest jedną z chorób prowadzących do utraty twardych tkanek zęba. Proces zachodzi z udziałem specyficznych interakcji między komórkami układu odpornościowego a tkankami twardymi. Rozpoznanie najczęściej jest przypadkowe, dzięki zdjęciom rentgenowskim. Leczenie jest ukierunkowane na zatrzymanie procesu resorpcyjnego i w miarę możliwości na odtwarzanie utraconych tkanek zęba. Najstarszym materiałem używanym do tego celu jest amalgamat. Dzięki rozwojowi materiało-znawstwa powstały nowe materiały, które ze względu na swoje właściwości coraz częściej są stosowane do uzupełniania utraconych tkanek zęba. Obecnie, ze względu na swoje właściwości, a zwłaszcza dużą biozgodność, najbardziej polecane jest MTA.Cel pracy. Określenie, który z najczęściej stosowanych materiałów do wypełnień jam resorpcyjnych zapewnia najlepszą szczelność.Materiał i metody. Do badań użyto 50 usuniętych zębów ludzkich. W każdym zębie w części środko-wej korzenia wykonywano 4 nacięcia imitujące jamy resorpcyjne, które następnie wypełniano: amalgamatem GS-80, IRM ® , ProRoot ® MTA oraz Fuji ® IX. Ocenę szczelności tych materiałów badano metodą penetracji barwnika, posługując się czterostopniową skalą Mayera.Wyniki. Najmniejszą penetrację barwnika, a tym samym najlepszą szczelność, uzyskano w przypadku ubytków wypełnionych ProRoot MTA, a największy przeciek barwnika, prawie dwukrotnie większy, dla Fuji IX. Uzyskane wyniki poddano analizie statystycznej.Wnioski. Ze względu na dużą szczelność brzeżną MTA, amalgamat oraz IRM mogą być z powodzeniem stosowane do wypełnienia ubytków poresorpcyjnych.Słowa kluczowe: MTA, resorpcja korzenia, szczelność brzeżna, test penetracji barwnika AbstractBackground. Tooth resorption is a disease which can lead to the loss of dental hard tissue. The process of resorption is mediated by specific interactions between immune cells and hard tissues of the tooth. Recognition of this process is mostly random thanks to an x-ray examination, and the treatment involves stopping the process and restoring the lost tissues of the tooth if possible. Amalgam is the oldest material used for this purpose. Currently, the MTA is the most recommended material, due to its properties, especially high biocompatibility.

ÖZAmaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, farklı apikal çaplara sahip (1mm ve 1.4mm) immatur dişlere ortograd ve retrograd yollarla, farklı uygulama teknikleri ile yerleştirdiğimiz MTA'nın apikal sızıntılarının bilgisayarlı sıvı filtrasyon tekniği ile belirlenmesidir. Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmada kullanmak için toplamda 100 adet çekilmiş üst çene keser insan dişi kullanıldı. Açık apekse sahip immatür dişleri simüle etmek amacıyla apikal foramen, çapı 1mm ve 1.4 mm genişliğinde olacak şekilde prepare edildi. Üretici firmanın talimatları doğrultusunda karıştırılan MTA dört farklı yolla (retrograd yolla, ortograd yolla, 2 aşamalı ortograd yolla ve internal matrix destekli ortograd yolla) farklı apikal foramen çapa sahip kök kanallarının içerisine yerleştirildi. Dişler bilgisayarlı sıvı-filtrasyon cihazında mikrosızıntı testi için hazırlandı. Sızıntı çalışmasındaki her bir örnekteki sıvı hareketi ölçümleri 15 saniye aralıklarla 8 kez tekrarlandı ve bu ölçümlerin ortalama değerleri kaydedildi [ µl / (dk * cmH2O * cm2) ]. Sızıntı deneylerinden elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizinde SPSS 20 programı kullanıldı. Bulgular: Elde edilen veriler tek yönlü ANOVA ve post-hoc Tukey testleri kullanılarak analiz edildi. Gruplar arasında istatistiksel fark bulundu. En az sızıntı internal matrix in 1mm genişlikte ortograt uygulanan grupta görüldü. En fazla sızıntı ise1.4mm açıklığa sahip dişlerde retrograt uygulamada gözlendi. MTA'nın internal matrix ile birlikte kullanıldığı gruplarda ve MTA'nın iki aşamalı yerleştirildiği gruplarda sızıntı miktarı MTA'nın tek seferde yerleştirildiği gruplardan daha azdır. Sonuç:Çalışmamızda uyguladığımız ortograt prosedürde internal matrix ile birlikte MTA uygulandığında apikal sızıntı değerleri en azdır. Klinik olarak bu metodun tercih edildiği durumlarda, cerrahi uygulama sayıları azaltılabilir ve daha az invaziv uygulamalarla tedaviler yapılabilir. Material and methods: 100 extracted human teeth were used for this study. In our study, apical foramen were prepared diameter of 1-1.4 mm in width for to simulate the open apex with an immature teeth. MTA was mixed according to manufacturer's recommendations, and was placed into the root canals which have a different apical foramen diameter. by four different ways (retrograde way, two-phased ortograde way, and ortograde with or without internal matrix way). The teeth were prepared for the microleakage test with computerise fluid-filtration method. Measurements of fluid movement were made at intervals of 15-seconds and repeated 8 times and means of these measurements were recorded [ µl / (min * cmH 2 O * cm 2 ) ]. ResumoIntrodução: O Mineral Trióxido Agregado (MTA) é composto por cimento Portland (CP) e um radiopacificador (óxido de bismuto). Objetivo: Avaliar tempo de presa, solubilidade, pH, liberação de íons Cálcio e radiopacidade do cimento Portland puro ou associado a quatro radiopacificadores (sulfato de bário, carbonato de bismuto, óxido de bismuto e iodofórmio), comparados ao MTA branco (Angelus, Londrina, Brasil). Material e método: A proporção empregada CP/radiopacificador foi de 4:1 em peso, (80% de cimento Portland e 20% de radiopacificador Descritores: Mineral trióxido agregado; obturação retrógrada; materiais retrobturadores. AbstractIntroduction: Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) is composed of Portland cement (PC), and a radiopacifier (bismuth oxide). Objective: To evaluate the setting time, solubility, pH, calcium ion release and radiopacity of pure Portland cement and its association to four radiopacifiers, (Barium sulfate, bismuth carbonate, bismuth oxide and iodoform), and White MTA (Angelus, Londrina, Brazil). Material and method: The ratio CP/radiopacifier used was 4:1 by weight (80% Portland cement and 20% radiopacifier). The setting time was evaluated according the specification ADA 57. The solubility was analyzed according to ISO 6876/2001 specification. The pH was evaluated using a digital pHmeter and the release of Ca ++ ions by atomic absorption spectrophotometer. The radiopacity was measured in millimeters of aluminum (mm/Al). The results were submitted to ANOVA and Tukey tests using 5% of significance level. Result: Barium sulfate did not alter the final setting time of the PC. Observed radiopacity was less than the minimum recommended by ADA 57 and ISO 6876/2001 for CP and CP associated with barium sulfate. The PC associated with iodoform showed solubility above the 3% recommended by ISO 6876/2001. All materials provided alkalinization and promoted calcium ion release. Conclusion: Bismuth carbonate and bismuth oxide provided proper initial setting time, solubility, pH, calcium ion release and radiopacity when combined with CP.
