The Effect of Layer Variation Between Liner and Cement Mantle on Reducing Cracks of PMMA Material Hip Joints

Abstract: Failure of cement mantle of bond loosening between liner and cement mantle is an important issue in total hip replacement. Two factors that commonly cause cement mantle failure are initial crack and stress. A solution for reducing stress on the cement mantle has been proposed by adding insertion material between liner and cement mantle.
