The effect of land use on hydrological processes in the Svratka river basin

Abstract: <p>The Svratka river basin represents an important water resource in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. Due to its relatively low aridity index (the ratio of precipitation to potential evapotranspiration), it belongs to river basins sensitive to climate change. This is also supported by significant negative runoff trends over the past 40 years.
