“…In a general explanation of the effectiveness of hypnotherapy in reducing the pain intensity among cancer patients, it can be stated that hypnosis, which is similar to attention training technique in cognitive-behavioral therapy, turns a person's attention from the pain site to other subjects and this state causes the feeling of pain to be perceived weaker. Hypnosis often creates a state that increases attention to internal perceptions and decreases environmental stimuli [6] .
