The effect of hyaluronic acid concentration on the rheological and tribological properties of artificial synovial fluid base solutions

Abstract: Synovial joints are a basic part of the human body. Lack of proper lubrication of joints can lead to significant wear of their surfaces. The tribological and rheological properties of artificial synovial fluid solutions based on hyaluronic acid were studied. It was found that the concentration of selected hyaluronic acid solutions significantly affects the investigated parameters.
