Abstract:The effect of heat treatment on the anisotropic mechanical properties of metastable β titanium alloy is investigated in this work. The anisotropic deformation behaviour is mainly due to the formation of band-like macrozone and texture during forging, which can be effectively weakened by solution + aging treatment.
