Abstract:Background: The role of vitamin D as an inflammation modulator, regulation system renin-angiotensin-aldosterone (RAAS), inhibits the production of parathyroid hormone (PTH), thereby causing left ventricular hypertrophy, causing hypocalcemia which induces hypertrophy in cardiac myocytes and can reduce cardiac contractility.
