Abstract:Problems with sandstone reservoirs include the small initial permeability which will hinder fluid flow from the reservoir to the bottom of the well. This will cause a small initial productivity due to a small initial permeability so that it will be more difficult for oil to flow from the drain radius which causes a small Productivity Index value.
