The Effect of Fabric Structure and Ultrasonic Welding Process on the Performance of the Spunlace Surgical Gowns

Abstract: This study investigates the effects of fabric properties and ultrasonic welding on the performance of surgical gowns. For this purpose, eight spunlace fabrics with different structural properties were provided. First, the fabrics’ thickness, tensile strength, elongation at break, air permeability, drape behavior, and surface friction properties were investigated.
