“…Creative dance is a pedagogical approach of exploration and experimentation, it teaches children to use their creative abilities that lead them effortlessly in the development of movement abilities, and it also increases the availability and willingness of children to engage in motor activities [78]. Among youth, dance programs have facilitated changes in physical outcomes, such as fitness (e.g., [43,79]), as well as in psychological outcomes (e.g., [79][80][81]). In the present study, the dosage of FMS specific time for the intervention group participants (including the weekly 10-min FMS station (100 min) and FMS dance practice and performance (300 min)) totalled 400 min throughout the 10-week intervention duration.…”

“…In the process of acquiring new motor skills, the goal is to master each new movement so the action is less controlled by the will, thus in the end, it is performed without the participation of the cerebral cortex. The number of repetitions of a movement or movement pattern used to create a motor habit is different and depends on age, previous experience, methodical procedure, motivation, concentration, initial level of motor skills and the complexity of the movement being learned (26,34). Acquiring motor habits is a continuous, long-term and multi-year process (30).…”

“…Araştırmalara bakıldığında yaratıcı hareketin çocukların motor gelişimine katkısını ortaya koyduğu görülmektedir (Chatzopoulos, Doganis ve Kollias, 2019). Tsompanaki (2019)'nin yapmış olduğu çalışmada da yaratıcı hareket ile motor beceriler arasındaki ilişkiye dikkat çekilmekte, yaratıcı hareketin çocukların motor gelişimlerine olumlu katkı sağladığı belirtilmektedir. MEB (2013) Okul Öncesi Eğitim programında yaratıcılıkla ilgili kazanım göstergelere motor, bilişsel, dil ve sosyal/duygusal alanlar altında yer verilmiştir.…”

“…Bununla birlikte beden kontrolünü, denge gelişimini, esneklik ve çeviklik kazanmayı ve motor koordinasyonu sağlar. Duygu ve düşüncelerini hareketle ifade ettikçe, bedensel ve zihinsel rahatlık elde ederler, özgüvenleri artar, duyguları ayarlama, problem çözme, iletişim kurma, saygı duyma gibi sosyal duygusal kazanımları güçlenir (Kaufmann, 2006;Tsompanaki, 2019;Zukowski ve Dickson, 1990). Okul öncesi eğitimde yaratıcı hareket, öğrenmenin de kolaylaştırıcısı olabilir.…”
