The effect of climate change and energy shocks on food security in Iran's provinces

Abstract: Climate change and energy price fluctuations in Iran have considerable economic, social, and environmental consequences. Thus, in this study, the effects of climate change and energy shock on food security in Iran from 2004 to 2018 were investigated using a panel‐VAR model. The results indicate that climate change has a major contribution to the volatility of food prices.
