Abstract: Purpose To evaluate the effect of breast MRI on overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) of patients with invasive breast cancer in the Netherlands. Methods We selected all women from the Netherlands Cancer Registry diagnosed with invasive breast cancer (a) between 2011 and 2013 for the OS-cohort and (b) in the first quarter of 2012 for the DFS-cohort.
