The effect of a total colectomy on the motor inhibition of the upper gut induced by intraileal stimuli in conscious dogs

Abstract

The intraileal stimuli-induced motor inhibition decreased after a total colectomy after the administration of glucose, but not after the administration of either oleate or capsaicin.
