Abstract: Neonatal purulent meningitis is a significant cause of neonatal disability and death. The early diagnosis and effective treatment are critical for neonatal purulent meningitis. Procalcitonin (PCT) is currently used as a clinical diagnosis marker of inflammation and infection, such as sepsis.
