Based on broadband spectral energy distribution (SEDs), we estimate the jet physical parameters of 1392 γ-ray-loud active galactic nuclei (AGNs), the largest sample so far. The (SED) jet power and magnetization parameter are derived for these AGNs. Out of these sources, the accretion disk luminosity of 232 sources and (extended) kinetic jet powers of 159 sources are compiled from archived papers. We find the following, (1) Flat-spectrum radio quasars (FSRQs) and BL Lacs are well separated by Γ = −0.127 log L γ + 8.18, in γ-ray luminosity versus photon index plane with a success rate of 88.6%. (2) Most FSRQs present a (SED) jet power larger than the accretion power, which suggests that the relativistic jetlaunching mechanism is dominated by the Blandford-Znajek process. This result confirms previous findings. (3) There is asignificant anticorrelation between jet magnetization and a ratio of the (SED) jet power to the (extended) kinetic jet power, which, for the first time, provides supporting evidence for the jet energy transportation theory: a high-magnetization jet may be more easily to transport energy to a large scale than a low-magnetization jet.

We present the results of studying the accretion disk vs jet power for a large fraction of all the blazars detected by the Fermi Gamma-Ray Space Telescope. The disk power is inferred from the emission line luminosities obtained from published results. As indicators of jet power, we use low frequency radio luminosity from the extended jet, maximum speed of radio knots observed in the VLBA monitoring of the pc-scale jets, kinetic energy of electrons in the jet deduced from the best-fit theoretical models of their spectral energy distribution, and γ-ray luminosity with and without beaming correction. We obtain a significant correlation in most of those cases. However, we find that the correlations are often driven by the common redshift dependence of the compared quantities. In order to remove the redshift bias and probe the intrinsic correlation between the disk and jet power, we compute the partial correlation coefficient as well as the correlation in small redshift bins, and find that the intrinsic disk-jet correlation is still present but weaker. In the cases, in which the common redshift dependence does not affect the result, we find that blazars do not exhibit high jet power for low disk luminosities while there are both high and low jet power for high disk luminosities. This result indicates that a powerful disk is a necessary but not sufficient condition to produce a powerful jet.

We fit the spectral energy distributions (SEDs) of members of a large sample of Fermi 2LAC blazars to synchrotron and inverse Compton (IC) models. Our main results are as follows. (i) As suggested by previous works, the correlation between peak frequency and curvature can be explained by statistical or stochastic particle acceleration mechanisms. For BL Lacs, we find a linear correlation between synchrotron peak frequency and its curvature. The slope of the correlation is consistent with the stochastic acceleration mechanisms and confirm previous studies. For FSRQs, we also find a linear correlation, but its slope cannot be explained by previous theoretical models. (ii) We find a significant correlation between IC luminosity and synchrotron luminosity. The slope of the correlation of FSRQs is consistent with the EC process. And the slope of the correlation of BL Lac is consistent with the SSC process. (iii) We find several significant correlations between IC curvature and several basic parameters of blazars(black hole mass, broad line luminosity, the Lorentz factor of jet). We also find significant correlations between bolometric luminosity and these basic parameters of blazars which suggest that the origin of jet is a mixture of the mechanisms proposed
