In a recent meta-analysis by Ziogas et al, no significant difference was observed between 2D-TVS and 3D-TVS in terms of sensitivity and specificity (80.4% vs. 77.6% and 82.8% vs. 81.6%, respectively, p = 0.960 and p = 0.733) [ 13 ].
