Esta pesquisa objetivou modelar um aplicativo móvel inteligente, o Aju Intelligence Tour, na perspectiva de melhorar a experiência de consumo e auxiliar na divulgação da oferta turística local do destino Aracaju. Para tanto, os aplicativos móveis com conteúdo turístico aracajuano, disponíveis nas lojas de onlines Google Play e Apple Store, foram analisados e comparados. Na sequência, ocorreu a modelação do banco de dados e da aplicação, utilizando as ferramentas de desenvolvimento LSQL Server Developer e a Unity Engine. Constatou-se que 20% dos aplicativos não disponibilizavam acesso ao conteúdo informativo das categorias vinculadas ao turismo e dos 80% que eram acessíveis, ora o conteúdo exibido não interagia diretamente com as funcionalidades, ora se apresentava com conteúdo informativo defasado, imagens estáticas sem padrão e ausência de comercialização. Mediante às lacunas supracitadas e à necessidade de ações inteligentes e tecnológicas que oportunizem um melhor conhecimento da oferta e que auxiliem na divulgação do destino com foco na promoção interativa e competitiva, desenvolve-se Aju Intelligence Tour para potencializar a experiência de consumo. Apresenta-se um conteúdo informativo atualizado e objetivo com possibilidade de e-commerce e de interatividade entre o usuário e o aplicativo, subsidiado por mapas de georreferenciamento por geolocalização e integração de canais de comunicação e distribuição, sendo uma proposta mais inovadora se comparada com as existentes.

The relevance of the chosen topic is related to the growing interest of researchers in technologies and mechanisms of growth of new touristic opportunities in the smart era of society, features of its impact on national policies in order to achieve strategic socio-economic goals of the countries both for domestic territories and along the path of development of geoeconomic strategies in the global space. In addition the relevance of the research direction is enhanced by the fact that tourism is one of the sectors of the world economy that has suffered the most from restrictions on movement during the pandemic crisis. The European Commission has recently presented a series of proposals setting out the foundations of the EU economy and society suitable for the digital age, outlining the development of a genuine European data space and offering a European approach to new technologies. The new industrial strategy and the SME strategy (adopted on March 10, 2020) identify the path to digital transformation to empower industry and small and medium-sized enterprises. The latest strategic communication of the European Commission “Tourism and Transport for 2020 and beyond” emphasizes the role of digital transformation and sustainability. This involves investing in digital skills and promoting digital innovation, as well as linking the tourism business and businesses to existing data spaces, technology providers, and community actors at the local and regional levels. To determine the possibilities of further evelopment of the industry, ithe article proposes a factor model of the total revenue from tourism activities, taking into account regional changes in tourist flow, provide recommendations for the effective development of the industry with account of future trands of tourism industry and ecosystem development. These issues are equally pertinent both for tourism, given the advantages innovative, new technologies can bring to tourism destinations and for businesses, local communities and travellers. They can facilitate tourism management both at destination and business level, contributing to balanced and sustainable growth of tourism in post Pandemic time. New smart technologies can help businesses provide more personalised services and therefore enhance the tourism experience.

Promoting accessibility in tourism can impact on other areas, including sustainable mobility, social inclusion, and territorial marketing, since it implies taking the needs of all people into account to access tourism products and services, including those with permanent or temporary disabilities. Smart cities may change the way people experience their surroundings and their ability to provide contextual services is a key aspect to make cities more accessible, comprehensible, and enjoyable. The systematic review reported by the present chapter aimed to identify relevant research studies supported by smart cities infrastructures with an impact on accessible tourism. The literature search and the analysis of the retrieved articles were performed according to the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The results identify the most relevant achievements related to accessible tourism in the context of smart cities, including the types of smart services being developed and their maturity level.
