The development of the 'COVID-19 Psychological Resilience Model' and its efficacy during the COVID-19 pandemic in China

Abstract: During the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, traditional face-to-face psychological interventions have been suspended due to high risks of rapid transmission. “…Such a psychological resilience model has been developed and tested for its effectiveness in China and was found to improve the overall mental health of the target population during the COVID-19 pandemic. [19] In our study, doctors had higher psychological distress, but low levels of fear of COVID-19; nurses had medium to high resilient coping.
