This study, is aimed at 1) synthesizing the conceptual framework of the problem-based learning process with a cloud learning environment (PBL-CLE process), 2) developing the PBL-CLE process, and 3) studying the result of the development of the PBL-CLE process. The research instruments include 1) the conceptual framework, 2) the PBL-CLE process to enhance analysis thinking, 3) learning achievement, and 4) analysis thinking assessment form. The statistics used in this research are 1) mean, 2) standard deviation, and 3) t-test. The findings reveal that 1) the PBL-CLE process consists of four components: (1) Input includes learning objectives, content, learners, teacher and cloud learning, (2) PBL-CLE process includes problem posing, problem analysis, problem understanding, research procedure, knowledge synthesis, conclusion and evaluation, presentation, and assignment assessment, (3) Output includes analysis thinking, learning achievement, and satisfaction, and (4) Feedback includes analysis thinking and learning achievement; 2) The result of suitability assessment of the PBL-CLE process to enhance analysis thinking is at the highest level; 3) The students’ learning achievement after the implementation of the PBL-CLE process to enhance analysis thinking is significantly higher than that before the implementation at a .01 level of statistical significance; and 4) The result of analysis thinking assessment after the learning process through the PBL-CLE process to enhance analysis thinking is at the very good level.

Aim: To develop flipped learning classes by using film clips for undergraduate nursing students in an online nursing informatics course, based on the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation model, and to evaluate the effectiveness and students' responses to this method of teaching. Methods: Sixty-four second-year nursing students participated in the course. The nursing students' knowledge was assessed at the beginning and end of each of the five classes. Moreover, their intention to recommend the classes to other students and additional comments were elicited by using semistructured questionnaires.Results: Knowledge about each core concept of nursing informatics reflected significant improvement. Regarding the intention to recommend the class to others, 62 (96.8%) students answered "strongly recommend" or "recommend." Conclusion: Integrating flipped learning classes by using film clips in an online nursing informatics course improved the nursing students' knowledge and is a format that is desired by students.

Maternal mortality (MM) remains a problem in the world as 380 mothers die from complications related to pregnancy and childbirth worldwide. Postpartum hemorrhage is the world’s leading cause of maternal mortality. In Indonesia, there were 8,600 maternal mortality cases in 2017, while the target to be achieved by 2025 is 74 per 100,000 live births. The aim of this study was to develop a mobile application as a learning medium on maternal emergencies. A research and development (R&D) study was conducted on 56 midwifery students, who were selected by total sampling. The KGD (KeGawatDaruratan) Maternal application was developed by using the ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate) instruction model and was validated by two experts, namely, midwifery and media experts. The KGD Maternal application was assessed by midwifery students using structured questionnaires named the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) questionnaires, which covered perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU). The results of this study revealed that the KGD Maternal application was considered valid by the material expert and very valid by the media expert. As many as 69.6% of the midwifery students rated the KGD Maternal application as useful in the learning process on maternal and neonatal emergencies, and 73.2% rated it as easy to use. This study also revealed that the KGD Maternal application could provide greater opportunities for midwifery students to access, and facilitate and enable them to understand, materials about maternal emergencies. Based on the findings in this study, institutions of midwifery and nursing education should design and develop learning media that can provide a more optimal learning process. Furthermore, a higher extent of mobile application development is needed to provide better learning media. Increased knowledge and competency will clearly result in decreased maternal mortality.
