The Design of Transmission Scheme of the 6-Speed Automatic Transmission Based on the 01N Automatic Transmission

Abstract: The power performance and fuel economy could be improved by increasing the shift. The 01N automatic transmission was a Navgneaus planetary gear mechanism with four forward gears, and the 6-speed transmission scheme was achieved by the planetary in series with the Navgneaus planetary gear mechanism. The original lever method was expanded for its limitation, the 6-speed transmission mechanism can be analyzed perfectly by the expanded lever method. The lever method was validated accurate and feasible.

“…engine or motor) efficiency. Nowadays, most transmissions, including manual or automated manual transmissions (MT or AMT), 1 hydraulic automatic transmissions (AT), 2 dual clutch transmissions (DCT), 3 and the emerging electric variable transmissions (EVT) in hybrid electric vehicles, 4 provide multi gear ratios and change the gear ratios by manipulating clutches. 5 In MT and AMT, one dry clutch is employed to implement the gear shift; however, power flow interruption is inevitable due to the disengagement of the single clutch.…”
