[The design of simple optical fiber laser polaristrobometer and DIY-spectropolarimeter for multivariate analysis of milk & diary products properties. Part I.]

Abstract: This paper describes two novel DIY approaches to polarimetric laser instrument development using old standard constructions of optical polarimeters, including variations based on classical Wild “polaristrobometer” and “halbschattenpolarimeter”. This method can be equally applied to really rare scientific instruments and their modern optical analogues. The process of similar setup of the construction is both entertaining and informative for many students as nonstandard practical work in their universities.
