The design and flight test of a new smart wing system

Abstract

This article introduces a new s mart wing system which can change its as pect ratio, wi ng area and bending rate during the flight so that the pl ane can adapt to the need of mission and flight environment. It also has a control system based on SCM chi p to kee p the whole system work correctly. The author conducts the flying test to evaluate the performance of the smart wi ng system. B ased on the result of test flight, the test pl ane equi pped wi th the smart wi ng system is proved to have stronger ability of flight and better adaptability for multi ple missions.
