Abstract:An investigation is made of the anisotropy of the microwave absorption spectra from the valence band in Si, when the magnetic induction is in the (110) plane. A comparison between calculated absorption spectra taking into account non‐zero values of the wave vector component along the direction of magnetic induction, and experimentally observed cyclotron resonance spectra at 45 and 70 GHz is presented. The agreement seems to be satisfactory.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
