The dependence of hole resonances in Si on the wave vector component along the direction of magnetic induction (II)

Abstract: An investigation is made of the anisotropy of the microwave absorption spectra from the valence band in Si, when the magnetic induction is in the (110) plane. A comparison between calculated absorption spectra taking into account non‐zero values of the wave vector component along the direction of magnetic induction, and experimentally observed cyclotron resonance spectra at 45 and 70 GHz is presented. The agreement seems to be satisfactory.
