The Cut Span Effect on the Beams Inclined Sections Strength Reinforced with External Composite Reinforcement

Abstract: The article presents the studies’ results of the oblique sections strength of 24 reinforced concrete beams, reinforced by three-sided U-shaped carbon fiber collars. The impact of the span section is estimated as 1.5h0 2,0h0 and 2,5h0 on the beams’ composite reinforcement efficiency in the initial inclined cracks presence and absence.

“…For the implementation of design solutions to strengthen the basin of the pool, other methods can also be applied, for example, using modern reinforcement methods using composite materials [9][10][11]. This will increase the rigidity of each structure and the bowl as a whole.…”

“…The main aim of the research presented in this article was to develop a dispersedreinforced lightweight concrete [24][25][26][27][28] that includes both heavy and light aggregate [29]. Thus, a part of the traditional heavy aggregate from dense rocks was replaced by an analogue of lightweight porous filler with equal volume but that was significantly lighter in weight.…”

“…As part of a large-scale study of the work of reinforced concrete structures reinforced with composite materials, at the Department of Reinforced Concrete and Stone Structures, DSTU, the operation issues of reinforced concrete structures reinforced with round glass and carbon fiber reinforcement [1][2][3][4], the sections strength of reinforced concrete beams normal to the longitudinal axis of the element, reinforced external composite reinforcement [5], compressed reinforced concrete elements reinforced with composite materials at different eccentricities of load application [6][7][8][9]. Also, a study on the sections of reinforced concrete beams that are inclined to the longitudinal axis of the element, reinforced with external composite clamps in the presence and absence of initial inclined cracks was carried out [10][11][12][13][14].…”
