The Current State and Prospects of the Development of Novikov Gearing

Abstract

The article gives a brief overview of the results of many years of theoretical and experimental studies of Novikov’s gear wheels, including those obtained under the guidance of the author by the laboratory of the Research Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Informatics named after I. I. Vorovich of the Southern (former Rostov) State University, shows the application in practice and the main promising directions for the development and improvement of these progressive gear wheels.
