The crystal structure of 1-methyl-2,4-dinitro-5-iodoimidazole, C4H3IN4O4

Abstract: CCDC no.: 1520552The asymmetric unit of the title crystal structure is shown in the gure. Tables 1 and 2 contain details on crystal structure and measurement conditions and a list of the atoms including atomic coordinates and displacement parameters. Source of materialThe title compound was prepared by nitrifying 1-menthyl-2,4,5-triiodoimidazole. It was recrystallized from acetone solution at room temperature to give colorless crystals suitable for single-crystal X-ray di raction.
