“…The peaks of free at 1043 and 1109 cm −1 , as well as interlayer SO 4 2− at 1120 cm −1 ions, are confirmed using Fourier transform infrared spectrometer attenuated total reflection (FT‐IR ATR, Figure S2, Supporting Information). [ 8 ] The interlayer peak indicates SO 4 2− ions are counter anions in NiFe LDH. In addition, the residues of NiSO 4 ·6H 2 O and FeSO 4 ·7H 2 O remain on the NiFe LDH layer, whereas the presence of NiSO 4 ·6H 2 O and FeSO 4 ·7H 2 O peaks is rarely detected for NNF‐W‐7 s, compared to the case of NNF‐D in the range of 10–20° (Figure S3, Supporting Information).…”

“…A peak of 979–987 cm −1 was examined, indicating the presence of NiSO 4 ·6H 2 O and FeSO 4 ·7H 2 O, and intercalated SO 4 2− anion, as shown in Figure 1c. [ 8b,9 ] In addition, peaks at 458 and 535 cm −1 , corresponding to Ni II ‐OH and Ni II ‐O, were detected, demonstrating that the NiFe LDH layer was deposited onto the NiFe surface. [ 10 ] In the case of NNF‐W‐7 s, the presence of NiFe LDH was also detected.…”

“…Graphite oxide was produced from natural graphite using the modied Hummers' method. 8,[11][12][13] In Scheme 2, 1.0 g graphite was ground with 50.0 g of NaCl for a few minutes to exfoliate the graphite particles and reduce their dimensions. The ground graphite was added to warm water and collected using lter paper by suction ltration.…”
