Abstract: Clinical pharmacy services in the critical care setting have expanded dramatically and include assisting physicians in pharmacotherapy decision making, providing pharmacokinetic consultations, monitoring patients for drug efficacy and safety, providing drug information, and offering medical education to physicians, nurses, and patients.
