The counselor education experiences of foreign‐born faculty: Teaching multicultural counseling

Abstract: We explored the experiences of eight foreign-born faculty who taught multicultural counseling courses and found six themes related to intersectionality, negative experiences, and environmental factors. Implications for this study include suggestions for supporting foreign-born faculty on environmental, departmental, and interpersonal levels.
