The Corneal Reflex in Anaesthesia

Abstract: Clinical History.-On October 24th, 1904, was visited at Somerset by Surgeon of Terror. Temperature was I040; diarrhoea; lumbar pains; intense headache; had been feeling ill for ten days; tongue furred; no abdominal physical signs; heart and lungs normal; pulse, zoo; respirations, I8. Removed to Royal Naval Hospital. Widal's reaction, positive (dilution, I in 8o). Bowels opened twice; evening temperature, 203.20 October 25th.
