Abstract

This study delves into the growth trajectory of authoritarian populism in the United States, focusing on its surge during the Trump administration. By dissecting the phenomenon from three different perspectives - political, economic and cultural - the paper provides a holistic understanding of its overall impact on the American landscape. The paper not only highlights the impact of this wave of populism, but also explores possible future strategies and measures that the US government may adopt in response. Furthermore, this study extends its utility beyond the borders of the United States. The insights and recommendations presented in this paper can serve as an important blueprint in an era where populist sentiments are becoming increasingly prevalent across the globe.
