The comparison of solitary topical micafungin or fluconazole application in the treatment of Candida fungal keratitis

Abstract: The efficacy of 0.1% MCFG eye-drops appears to be comparable with that of 0.2% FCZ eye-drops in the treatment of Candida fungal keratitis.

Los antifúngicos orales ketoconazol y fluconazol presentan altas concentraciones en cámara anterior y cornea por lo cual constituyen el tratamiento para infecciones complicadas (1,17,32), la administración subconjuntival se debe usar en pacientes con queratitis severas o queratoesclerosis.
