The Community Impact of Handicaps of Prenatal or Natal Origin

Abstract: Followup of a group of Kauai Pregnancy Study children from birth to 2 years enabled the authors to calculate incidence rates of physical and mental handicaps of prenatal and natal origin and thus to delineate type and duration of care required.
