Abstract: The combined effects of temperature and salinity on the digestion and respiration metabolism of Pinctada fucata were evaluated via response surface methodology and box-benhnken design under laboratory condition. Results indicated that the primary and secondary effects of salinity and temperature had significant effects on amylase (AMS) of P. fucata (P < 0.05)., The digestive enzyme reached the maximum activity when temperature was 26 °C.
