Abstract:This text aims to explore how racism operates in police practices with particular attention to Lethbridge. It is designed to provide a historical trajectory for the relationship between policing, racism, and colonialism. It examines the history of modern policing and its nation-state-building capacity and racialized policing in modern Lethbridge. This article deals with the concept of "racial profiling" through the carding practice in Lethbridge.
