Gentrification, as a term introduced into China 20 years ago, has now become a topical word in scholarly discussion. This paper for the first time used the software of multiple pieces to analyze literature on gentrification between 1996 and 2017 in China based on bibliometrics, aiming to get the overview of the study, identify and expound the research themes, and analyze their evolution. It showed that the study on gentrification had entered into an exploratory stage with fluctuation from the early germination stage; gentrification research mainly concentrated on two disciplines, namely Geography and Urban and Rural Planning; the top 10 influential authors were identified and collaborative research teams leading the gentrification research had initially been formed. The themes of gentrification research in China were decided by visual analysis method, including urban renewal and dynamic mechanism of gentrification, evaluation and response to the effects of gentrification, new types of gentrification, and historical and cultural heritage conservation and creative industry, on which deeper content and information were described in detail. In terms of research themes evolution analysis, the results showed that the gentrification research in China had experienced the shift from initial concept and literature introduction to current empirical research and theory construction. There are significant signs showing the future trends of gentrification will move to the construction of a theoretical system of gentrification with Chinese characteristics, gentrification consequences evaluation and urban policies, new types of gentrification, gentrification driven by cultural consumption and authenticity protection of gentrification-stricken historical and cultural heritages, application of new technology to gentrification research, and relationship between shantytown renovation and gentrification in China. As to this paper, as far as the authors know, it is the first comprehensive systematic summary within this field based on bibliometric analysis.

Bibliometric Analysis of Supplier Management: The Theme and Cluster Perspectives

This paper conducted a bibliometric analysis based on 4687 papers on supplier management from 1997 to 2017. Through a comparative analysis of the four stages using Bibexcel and Ucinet6 software, this paper explores the evolution of supplier management from the theme and cluster perspectives. The results show that supplier management research has made breakthroughs in both breadth and depth. Representative research themes, such as “sustainable supply chain”, “corporate social responsibility”, “knowledge management”, etc., have gradually penetrated into the field of supplier management. Research related to “supplier selection” and “supplier relations” have always been of the highest strategic importance, and themes in “supplier relations” cluster such as “trust” and “commitment” have gradually attracted more and more researchers’ attention. The “inventory” cluster has also been a research focus, and the structural stability and maturity of the cluster have gradually improved. The “innovation” cluster is a relatively “open” cluster, and its impact on the entire research filed of supplier management has been gradually increasing. More importantly, the “sustainability” cluster is an evolving cluster, research themes related to “sustainability”, such as “green supply chain”, “sustainable supply chain” and “green supplier selection”, will play an increasingly important role in the field of supplier management.

A Comparative Study of International and Chinese Public Health Emergency Management from the Perspective of Mapping Knowledge Domains

Background: At the end of 2019, the outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) had severely damaging people’s life. China’s public health emergency management system had played an essential role in the handling and response of it, which had been appreciated by the World Health Organization and some countries. Hence it is necessary to make an overall analysis of the development of China’s health emergency management system. It can provide a reference for scholars to understand the current situation and look for new research points. Methods: We collected 2247 international from the Web of Science database, 959 Chinese articles from China National Knowledge Infrastructure database. Bibliometric and mapping knowledge domains analysis methods were used in this study for temporal distribution analysis, cooperation network, co-word network analysis. Results: The first international article in this field was published in 1991, while Chinese in 2005. Research institutions mainly come from universities and health institutions. Developed countries and European countries published more articles, while east of China published more. There are 52 burst words for international articles from 1999–2018, while 18 burst words for Chinese articles from 2003–2018. International top-ranked articles by citation appeared in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2014, 2015, 2016, while Chinese appeared in 2003, 2004, 2009, 2011.Conclusions: There are differences in the regional or economic distribution of international and Chinese cooperation networks. International research often relates to hot issues, mainly focus on the emergency preparedness and monitoring for public health events, while China’s focus on the public health emergency and their disposal. International begins the research with terrorism and bioterrorism, followed by disaster planning and emergency preparedness, epidemics and infectious diseases. China takes severe acute respiratory syndrome as the research background and legal system construction as the research starting point, followed by mechanism, structure, system, and learning from abroad of public health emergency management.
