Abstract:Mandibular osteonecrosis is a rare but important side effect of the use of radiotherapy, bisphosphonates, RANK ligand inhibitors and other antiangiogenics; it is crucial to implement prevention, perform an adequate differential diagnosis and quickly set up a therapy in order to avoid the development of complications. We describe the clinical case of a 51-year-old patient, the history of the disease and the treatment carried out.
