The Class III Acid‐Etch Light Polymerized Composite Resin Restoration

Abstract: The use of an acid‐etch enamel resin bonded Class III restoration allows for a more conservative cavity design. The acid‐etch technique's benefits include retention without dentinal undercuts and creating reinforcement of undermined enamel. When a controlled method of acid‐etched enamel resin‐bonding with a syringe technique is used with a visible light curing composite resin, a durable, esthetic Class III restoration is achieved.
