La prevalencia del espejo griego en las construcciones identitarias generadas en Iberia ha hecho que el prisma romano o, mejor dicho, los estudios centrados en las fuentes literarias latinas no se hayan prodigado. Por esta razón, nuestra intención en este trabajo es valorar el peso de ciertos autores latinos en la progresiva construcción etno-geográfica de la península ibérica durante el periodo de conquista. Así, nos acercaremos a obras de naturaleza muy dispar ‒ el AUC de Tito Livio, la producción cesariana, las RG augusteas o la NH pliniana‒ que, para estos contextos, han quedado eclipsadas por el relato de Estrabón y de sus ilustres predecesores.
