In the present work, a novel polymer composite electrolytes (PCEs) based on poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA): ammonium thiocyanate (NH4SCN): Cd(II)-complex plasticized with glycerol (Gly) are prepared by solution cast technique. The film structure was examined by XRD and FTIR routes. The utmost ambient temperature DC ionic conductivity (σDC) of 2.01 × 10−3 S cm−1 is achieved. The film morphology was studied by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The trend of σDC is further confirmed with investigation of dielectric properties. Transference numbers of ions (tion) and electrons (tel) are specified to be 0.96 and 0.04, respectively. Linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) displayed that the PCE potential window is 2.1 V. The desired mixture of activated carbon (AC) and carbon black was used to fabricate the electrodes of the EDLC. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) was carried out by sandwiching the PCEs between two carbon-based electrodes, and it revealed an almost rectangular shape. The EDLC exhibited specific capacitance, energy density, and equivalent series resistance with average of 160.07F/g, 18.01Wh/kg, and 51.05Ω, respectively, within 450 cycles. The EDLC demonstrated the initial power density as 4.065 × 103 W/Kg.

Considering the inadaptability of traditional anodic bonding to polymer materials, the flexible anodic bonding process is developed. The bonding characteristics of the dynamic intelligent electric fields with the low-temperature plasma surface treatment to polymer and ultrasonic-assisted preconnection before bonding are very suitable for the anodic bonding of polymer elastomer to aluminum (Al) sheet. A series of composite polyurethane elastomer cathode materials (CPECs) with good bonding properties are prepared and characterized. The highest ionic conductivity of CPECs can reach to 2.7 Â 10 À3 S/cm (CPEC2) at 75 C. A series of hyperbranched polyurethane elastomers (PEO‐HBPUEs) as polymer electrolyte substrate materials was developed for anodic bonding with aluminum (Al) foil in micro‐electro‐mechanical system (MEMS) devices. The PEO‐HBPUEs were prepared by pre‐polymerization method with toluene‐2,4‐diisocyanate(TDI), polypropylene glycol (PPG), 1,4‐butanediol(BDO), trimethylolpropane(TMP), lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulphonyl)imide (LiTFSI), and polyethylene oxide (PEO)‐based electrolyte in varying proportions via solution casting technique at room temperature. All prepared PEO‐HBPUEs exhibited low glass transition temperatures, good thermal stabilities, and suitable mechanical properties. The XRD results showed that PEO‐HBPUEs are amorphous, and LiTFSI was well dissolved in the polymer matrix. The component of PEO‐based electrolyte in PEO‐HBPUEs contributed to increase the ionic conductivity, of which the highest value reached 1.23 × 10−3 S/cm at 75°C for PEO‐HBPUE4. The anodic bonding of PEO‐HBPUE substrate with Al foil was conducted by the coupling action of electric field, temperature field, and pressure field. A clear intermediate bonding layer between the substrate and Al foil was observed and the elements diffusion around bonding layer can be detected by SEM, indicating PEO‐HBPUEs and Al foil have been jointed together successfully. The highest tensile strength of the bonding interface of PEO‐HBPUE4/Al reached 1.88 MPa. All results demonstrated that the prepared PEO‐HBPUEs materials would be promising substrates for flexible MEMS device that can be applied to flexible packaging by anodic bonding technology.
