The Choice of Informative Parameters of the Cardiovascular System for Assessment of Physiological Effects of Hypogravity

Abstract: Changes in cardiovascular system (CVS) under conditions of hypogravity simulated using 7-and 21-day ortho-and antiorthostatic hypokinesia at different angles were studied. The aim of the experiment was selection of informative CVS parameters most sensitive to these conditions. Simultaneous recording of 26 CVS parameters on a spiroartheriocardiorythmograph showed that the most sensitive parameters were blood pressure (BP) variability indexes in functional tests: differences in groups with varying degrees of ort… Show more

“…The study of the cardiorespiratory system was performed using SACR and assumed an examination for spontaneous breathing (SB). This report analyzes the differences in the ranks of the parameters of the SBPV and DBPV -TPSBP (mmHg 2 ), VLFSBP (mmHg 2 ), LFSBP (mmHg 2 ), HFSBP (mmHg 2 ), LF/HFSBP (mmHg 2 /mmHg 2 ), TPDBP (mmHg2), VLFDBP (mmHg 2 ), LFDBP (mmHg 2 ), HFDBP (mmHg 2 ), LF/HFDBP (mmHg 2 /mmHg 2 ) [17,24,25].…”

“…In the sport practice, it is important to determine these indicators to identify conditions of fatigue, overstrain, overtraining, when in the conditions of the training and competitive process it is necessary to change quickly and qualitatively the direction of training or recovery of the organism after them [5][6][7]12,14,15]. The study of the variability of blood pressure according to the recording of the pulse wave on each heartbeat by photoplethysmographic method has been used for a long time, but, due to various circumstances, it has not been widely used [16][17][18][19]. We will try to fill this gap to some extent.…”

“…There are a huge number of publications on the practical application of the method of heart rate variability (HRV), which is widely used in the "field conditions", in various fields of medicine, physiology and sports [1,2,4,5,13,14,18,22,23,[25][26][27][28][29][33][34][35][36][37][38]. In recent years, there have been publications on the practical application in clinical practice, preventive, space and sports medicine of the method of blood pressure variability at each heart contraction [39][40][41][42][43][44]. We have proposed and implemented in the practice of medical research and medical control of athletes the study of spontaneous respiration variability (RV) for short intervals [45][46][47][48][49].…”

“…The aim of the protocol is to study the effect of two different modalities of long-term bed rest space simulations (6 degree HDT bed rest simulating microgravity, and 9.6 degree HUT simulating lunar gravity) on FETa and spirometric indices. It should be mentioned that the current protocol was a part of a multidisciplinary «Selena» Bed Rest Study, some results of which were already published ( Cherepov et al, 2014 ; Segizbaeva et al, 2016 ).…”
