The changing clinical presentation of complete molar pregnancy

Abstract: Fewer current patients with complete hydatidiform mole present with the traditional symptoms of complete hydatidiform mole (excessive uterine size, anemia, preeclampsia, hyperthyroidism, or hyperemesis) when compared with historic controls. However, there has been no statistically significant change in the development of persistent gestational trophoblastic tumor in current patients compared with historic controls.
