The Calcifying Epithelial Odontogenic Tumor (Pindborg Tumor): A Case Report

Abstract: Calcifying Epithelial Odontogenic Tumor (CEOT) is a rare benign odontogenic tumor that was first described by Pindborg in 1955. It accounts for less than 1% of all odontogenic neoplasms. This lesion is a locally aggressive benign odontogenic neoplasm arising from epithelial tissue.
