The Burden of Inflammatory Bowel Disease(IBD) in Japan

Abstract: Objectives: The gastrointestinal symptom score (GIS) is used in a standardised form to ascertain dyspeptic symptoms in patients with functional dyspepsia. Each symptom is included with equal importance in the overall evaluation. The objective was to derive utility weights for the ten gastrointestinal symptoms by using a best-worst scaling (BWS).
