Abstract: Clusters of hydrophobic residues are known to promote structured protein stability and drive protein aggregation. Recent work has shown that identifying contiguous hydrophobic residue clusters (termed 'blobs') has proven useful in both intrinsically disordered protein (IDP) simulation and human genome studies.
